Nashville-based guitarist, songwriter, and singer, Meg Williams, performs across the country with her full band, as a solo/duo act, and as a side-woman for other artists. With over 20+ years experience on the guitar, Meg’s guitar playing and solos have captured the attention of audiences across the US, leaving her with an ever growing fanbase. Often compared to Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt, Meg brings a mix of blues, rock, southern rock and country music to the stage at all of her performances. Meg currently has a weekly residency at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, in downtown Nashville, and has performed at other historic Nashville venues including: 3rd & Lindsley, City Winery, ANALOG, and BB King's. She is currently a 2023 nominee for 'musician of the year - guitar' with the Josie Music Awards. 

Meg recently performed at the 2023 Gloucester Blues Festival (MA), 2023 Huntsville Cigar Box Guitar Festival (AL), 2023 Bradenton FL Cigar Box Guitar Festival (with Travis Bowlin), 2022 Winter Blues Experience III (Cincinnati, OH), the Muscle Shoals Songwriter Festival (AL), the Cincinnati Guitar Festival (OH), and the 2021 Camping with the Blues Festival (Brooksville, FL),  She has also performed at the official Ryman Auditorium Outdoor PNC Stage pre-show performance for the Jason Isbell Show (Nashville, TN), and the 2021 Point of the Bluff Concert Series (NY), as an opening act for the band America. She recorded her 2019 full length album, ‘Take Me As I Am: The Muscle Shoals Sessions,’ at the legendary FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals (Nola Blue Records). Meg’s album has since been played on Sirius XM’s Bluesville and radio stations world-wide. Meg independently released her latest full length album, recorded in Nashville, TN, titled 'Live and Learn' on October 29, 2021. The single 'Live and Learn' from the new album was selected as a semi-finalist for the International Songwriting Competition (2021 ISC). The album 'Live and Learn' earned a Bronze Global Music Award (Americana Album), and was selected as a finalist (Album of the Year) for the International Singer Songwriter Association awards. She just released her latest single ‘Blowin’ Smoke’ and will be releasing more new music this fall. Meg and Travis have just been nominated for 'Duo of the Year' for the 2023 Josie Music Awards. 

Meg has performed at the 2022 Cincinnati Guitar Fest, 2019 Tall City Blues Fest (Midland, TX), the 2019 Robert Johnson Sessions (San Antonio, TX), main-stage at 2018 Venice Blues Festival (Venice, FL), the 2019 Island Hopper Songwriter Festival (Fort Myers, FL), and the highly selective Nashville Guitar Community Showcase (TN). Meg performed at both the 2019 Ann Arbor Blues Fest & the inaugural Lone Star Blues and Heritage Festival, as a guitarist for blues legend and festival headliner, Benny Turner (brother & bassist of the late Freddie King). Meg was the winner of the 2019 Kentucky Blues Challenge (band) and competed in Memphis, TN during the International Blues Challenge week, representing the Kentucky Blues Society. She additionally was selected as the house band director for the Women in Blues Showcase (2019, 2020, 2022) during the International Blues Challenge week (Memphis, TN). Meg has also performed at the Tennessee Motorcycle & Music Revival at Loretta Lynn’s Ranch (TN), Wilmywood Country Classics (NC), Rockland Maine Drive-In Concert Series (2020), and the Smoky Mountain Songwriter’s Festival (Gatlinburg, TN). 

Meg has been interviewed & featured on Blues Radio International (during the Blues Music Awards - BMA's - in Memphis, TN 2019 & virtually in 2020), FOX17 Rock Review with Eric Dahl, Knoxville’s WDVX Blue Plate Special (3x), and Acme Radio Live (Nashville, TN), on 'Gear Gab' with Eric Dahl.
