Meg Williams balances her big guitar playing with a sweet and sultry vocal style and razor-sharp lyrics…”

Rick J Bowen

Nashville-based guitarist, songwriter, and singer, Meg Williams, performs across the country with her full band, as a solo/duo act, and as a side-woman for other artists. With over 20+ years experience on the guitar, Meg’s guitar playing and solos have captured the attention of audiences across the US, leaving her with an ever growing fanbase. Often compared to Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt, Meg brings a mix of blues, rock, and southern rock/country music to the stage at all of her performances.

Meg currently has a weekly residency at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, in downtown Nashville, for over 2 years now. She has also performed at other historic Nashville venues including: 3rd & Lindsley, City Winery, and BB King's. She was selected as the House Band Director and guitarist for the Women in Blues showcase at Alfred's on Beale Street (Memphis, TN) during the International Blues Challenge (2019, 2020, and 2022). Meg's song ‘Blowin Smoke’ was just selected as Southern Rock/Country Rock Song of the Year for the 2023 Josie Music Awards.

Meg will be performing at the 2024 Clearwater Sea-Blues Festival (FL) and the 2024 North Atlantic Blues Festival (ME).
